Slovakia Shoeboxes
Good Morning!~
Last year I went on a mission trip to Slovakia. We did a lot of hard work while there and some of that work involved cleaning out a storage area. This is one of the things we found while doing that work! I was so elated to see that Operation Christmas Child had been to Slovakia! It was another affirmation to me that God planned for me to be on this trip. I love what the Shoebox ministry does and what it means…that kids are meeting Jesus in their boxes. They feel the hope and love that God wants them to have everyday. I am so tickled to know that we were able to be in a place where this ministry had been. God is everywhere.
So, did you ever think you could be a missionary? Well, you can and you don’t even have to leave home to do it. Just get an ampty shoebox and fill it with some goodies to send to a child today. Write a letter and send your picture. It doesn’t matter how much stuff is in the box- what matters is the love and prayers that you put with the stuff! God will supply all their needs. Just send a box.

I thank God for each and every box that gets sent in the name of Jesus.
